When preparing to suspend HVAC equipment, ductwork or accessories, threaded anchor points are often required. Quik-Twists from Duro Dyne are side or vertical mounted fasteners that provide attachment points for steel threaded rods and other assemblies. There are 2 variations of Quik-Twists, one for penetrating and threading into steel and one for wood. Each Quik-Twist has a 3/8-16 threaded hole in the fastener's hex shaped head. Side mounted Quik-Twists have the threaded hole perpendicular to the fastener shaft and passing completely through the fastener head. Vertical mounted Quik-Twists have the threaded hole parallel to the fastener shaft and as deep as the fastener head.
